We are thinking we might give up the rooster. Why? He only has Caramel to mate with as the other chickens are still growing… they should start to lay mid March. And he showed aggression towards Vivi when she went towards Caramel. But Dan gave him a whack and he has settled down again. He has such an impressive coat and comb.
