Let out two guineas this week. First one, then a couple days later the second one. They stuck around for the first few days but today (day 4) haven’t seen them.
Thinking I let them out too early. Should have waited 6 weeks, instead of 4.
Still got 10 in the coop and lots of eggs I bought from a farm near Gympie in the incubator 🤞due to hatch next week.
We also took the eggs ours have laid in the coop - about 10 - and added them to incubator on 26 October.
Can hear the girl making the “Buck-wheat” and the boys making the “beep beep”
I think I only had 3 girls. I let the lavender one out cause she looked unwell. And a pied male. Two girls left in coop.
I syringed a mix of apple cider vinegar, olive oil and black walnut into the female’s mouth and got her to throw up a bit by holding her upside down and massaging her crop. It worked a bit!
She looked really happy when I saw her yesterday free ranging. Hope she and the male come back to the coop and the rest of the flock!
