Bamboo stakes

Today I bought some bamboo stakes for the trees, so we down mow over them while they’re still little. Great advice from the amazing staff at Pomona Hinterhub, the Noosa Landcare nursery to paint the tops bright pink so they’re easy to see. We initially tried to split large fallen bamboo poles but they are way too bendy and better used for making bows, so after a trip to Bamboo Australia and the purchase of some thin 2m long poles we are all set to plant.
