Six months have past and the summer has flown by. It’s now Autumn and the garden is a maze of green with the swale path doing its thing.

Nasturtiums

I’ve noticed I hardly need to water and the hose now lies dormant on the garden floor, hidden beneath the canopy of chaos.

No need for the hose.

Pigeon peas are starting to grow up next to the bigger trees, encouraging them and providing their roots with nitrogen.  

This has been an incredible learning ground and joyful experiment. There is not a lot of structure but I am learning a lot!
